My name is Cherise Jarvis, I am a mother, daughter, aunt, friend, and so much more. I came up with ELAA, while watching my own mother battle stage 4 colon cancer for five years. Our relationship during the majority of my life was challenging, but after taking my mother to Philadelphia for her cancer treatments, to her having a colostomy bag, and having her admitted to rehab after a lengthy hospital stay, I thought how wonderful it would be to honor my mother, to the entire world in life. Unfortunately, she passed before I was able to accomplish it.
But, the opportunity to honor our mothers, biological or not, is here for those who want to honor them now, while they are still in the earthly realm or beyond. I believe the stories we share about our mothers should be shared with everyone, regardless of language, because we can all be inspired and encouraged by stories of memorable people all over the globe. We also have weekly tributes of phenomenal people, so stay tuned in to see who it is and be encouraged by her story.
